Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, this unique 380 room apartment hotel combines Architect-designed interiors with the facilities of a serviced apartment for the design-conscious, independent traveller. Mobi Living is the principle supplier of loose furniture throughout the hotel working closely with the design team to create a collection of custom-made furnishings meeting Citadines’ international commercial standard. Melbourne’s newest 5.0 star hotel comprises 398 guest rooms including suites and apartments with restaurant, cafe, bar and lounge over 19 floors. Mobi Living supplied custom-designed solid timber furniture, upholstery and outdoor elements throughout the building, featuring the Oslo collection designed by Ivan Woods exclusively for guest rooms. Nuevo 37 restaurant and Sotano Wine & Tapas located in the heart of Melbourne’s South Wharf combine contemporary Australian design and high Spanish cuisine to dramatic effect, winning the 2010 AHA Bar of the Year. Adjacent, Caffe Cino is the perfect expresso stop to take it all in. ‘Single LEAP’ (Living Environment and Accommodation Precinct) is an Australian Defence Force project bringing living-in accommodation for single employees into line with community standards. Phase 1 of the project features a total of 1,395 individual self-contained units across three sites in NSW and QLD. The project has been delivered under Public Private Partnership arrangements between a private consortium and the Australian government.

Mobi Living was the FF&E partner supplying loose furniture and electrical equipment to all units as well as shared common facilities. Being a federal government project, it was required to meet all relevant Australia Standards and be performed in accordance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry. Installation involved a stringent, staged roll-out within security-controlled restricted access areas demonstrating Mobi Living’s logistics excellence.

Concealed behind it’s distinctive pillar-box red doorway along one of Melbourne’s famous network of laneways resides Portello Rosso, a pizzeria and jamón bar. Mobi Living provided loose furniture, including the dramatic recycled timber table-tops to compliment the bar’s signature rustic, unpretentious regional Mediterranean cooking.
